Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Dr Demo Dumpsters website (drdemo.com), booking a dumpster rental, demolition service, or portable storage container, or contacting us in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our website or services.

Services Overview

Dr Demo Dumpsters provides the following services within San Diego County, California:

• Dumpster rentals: roll-off container delivery, rental, and pickup for residential and commercial projects
• Demolition services: structural and selective demolition including sheds, garages, decks, interiors, and commercial buildings
• Portable storage: on-site storage container delivery and rental for temporary storage needs

Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change without notice. All services are performed within our service area at our discretion.

Dumpster Rental Terms

Rental Period

The standard rental period for our 15-yard dumpster is 7 days from the date of delivery. Extensions may be granted upon request and are subject to availability and additional charges. You must contact us before your rental period expires to request an extension.

Placement and Access

You are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible by our trucks. This includes clearing the placement area of vehicles, debris, and obstructions. Our driver will place the dumpster where directed, provided the location is safe and accessible. We are not responsible for damage to surfaces that are already cracked, deteriorating, or not designed to bear heavy loads.

Permits

If the dumpster is placed on your private property (driveway, yard, or private lot), a permit is typically not required. If you need the dumpster placed on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, you may be required to obtain a permit from your local municipality. You are responsible for obtaining any required permits. We can provide guidance but are not responsible for securing permits on your behalf.

Weight Limits

Each dumpster has a maximum weight capacity. Exceeding the weight limit may result in additional charges. We will inform you of the weight limit for your specific container at the time of booking. You are responsible for not exceeding the stated weight capacity.

Prohibited Items

The following materials are not allowed in any Dr Demo Dumpsters container:

• Hazardous waste, chemicals, or toxic materials
• Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
• Paint, stains, lacquers, or solvents (liquid form)
• Tires, batteries, and automotive fluids
• Electronics and appliances containing refrigerants (e.g., refrigerators, air conditioners)
• Medical waste or biohazardous materials
• Flammable or explosive materials

If prohibited items are found in your dumpster, you will be responsible for any additional disposal fees, fines, or surcharges incurred. We reserve the right to refuse pickup until prohibited materials are removed.

Overfilling

Debris must not extend above the top edge of the dumpster. Overfilled containers cannot be safely transported and may require a second trip. Additional charges may apply for overfilled dumpsters. We reserve the right to refuse pickup of an overfilled container until the load is reduced to a safe level.

Demolition Service Terms

Demolition projects are quoted on a per-job basis after an assessment of the scope of work. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Once a demolition project is scheduled and confirmed, the following terms apply:

• Scope of work: only the structures, materials, and areas specifically identified in the written quote will be demolished. Changes to the scope require a revised quote.
• Permits: we will advise you on required demolition permits, but you are responsible for obtaining them unless we have agreed in writing to handle permitting as part of the project.
• Utilities: you are responsible for ensuring all utilities (gas, electric, water, sewer) are properly disconnected before demolition begins. We will not begin work until you confirm disconnection.
• Debris removal: demolition debris removal is included in your quote unless otherwise stated. Debris is hauled in our own dumpsters and disposed of at licensed facilities.
• Hidden conditions: if we encounter unexpected conditions during demolition (asbestos, mold, structural concerns, buried debris), we will stop work and notify you. Additional costs may apply to address hidden conditions.

Portable Storage Terms

Portable storage containers are rented on a flexible basis. The following terms apply:

• Placement: you must provide a flat, stable surface that can support the container and its contents. We will place the container at the location you designate, provided it is accessible.
• Contents: you are responsible for all items placed in the storage container. Dr Demo Dumpsters is not responsible for damage to your belongings caused by weather, temperature, pests, or theft.
• Security: containers are delivered with functional doors. You are responsible for providing your own lock and securing the container.
• Duration: you may keep the container as long as needed under the agreed rental terms. Notify us when you are ready for pickup.

Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted are in U.S. dollars. Pricing is based on the service type, container size, rental duration, and delivery location. Additional charges may apply for:

• Rental extensions beyond the standard period
• Overweight loads exceeding the stated container weight limit
• Overfilled containers requiring additional trips
• Prohibited items requiring special disposal
• Dry runs (delivery attempts where access is blocked)
• Relocation of the container at your request after initial placement

Payment is due upon booking or upon completion of service, as specified in your invoice or booking confirmation. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as listed on our booking platform. All sales are final once the service has been performed.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a dumpster rental or storage delivery before the container has been dispatched for delivery at no charge. Once our truck has been dispatched or delivery has been completed, cancellation fees may apply. Demolition projects require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellation. Cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled demolition may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Liability and Indemnification

Dr Demo Dumpsters carries general liability insurance and is fully licensed and DOT compliant. However:

• Property damage: we take reasonable care during delivery, pickup, and demolition operations. We are not liable for damage to driveways, landscaping, underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other property features that are not visible or disclosed to us before service.
• Your responsibility: you agree to inform us of any underground lines, pipes, septic systems, sprinkler heads, or other features in or near the delivery/work area.
• Indemnification: you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr Demo Dumpsters, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of our services, your breach of these terms, or your negligence.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dr Demo Dumpsters’ total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, project delays, or business interruption.

Website Use

The content on our website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of Dr Demo Dumpsters and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission. Our website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be available uninterrupted or error-free.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including our booking platforms at dumpster.drdemo.com and storage.drdemo.com. These sites are operated by third parties and have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or your use of our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. You agree to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Dr Demo Dumpsters.

Force Majeure

Dr Demo Dumpsters is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government orders, labor disputes, equipment failure, or road closures. In the event of a force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services as soon as possible.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
