Yes, we do recycle construction and demolition debris. What’s good about Dr Demo Demolition is that we have our own dumpster trucks. So, we have the ability to place several small bins in site in order to separate the debris. Landfill diversion is one of the recycling goals. The more debris we can separate and recycle the less ends up taking room in our landfills.

Wood and greenery debris can be separated and sent to wood recycling centers where the wood is ground into mulch to be re-used in landscaping. Wood is also re-used as fuel in co-generation plants because of the methane gas it produces.

Concrete is recycled by separating and sending it to the local concrete recycling plants such as Hanson, Vulcan and Otay Valley Rock. The gravel is crushed into various sizes of rock to be re-used in construction.

Any scrap metal is also separated and sent to local metal scrap metal yards to be recycled and re-used.

Dr Demo performs the de-construction and salvage of other construction materials as well. Doors, windows, cabinetry and various fixtures can be removed, salvaged and re-used.

All of this recycling, salvage and diversion is an attempt for Dr Demo Demolition to do our part in sustaining a green and healthy environment.
